Stacklane
Founder

Hi, I'm Ishak. Stacklane is what I wish existed when I was hiring.

Most engineering vendors are mispriced for the AI era. Agencies still sell hours when AI compressed the labour. Vibe-coding studios ship demoware that breaks in week three. In-house hires take four months to start. Stacklane is built for the era we're in: AI in the loop, senior judgment on top, production-grade software out the other side.

The story

We built Stacklane for the AI era, not retrofitted to it.

Every existing vendor shape is mispriced for this moment. Agencies still bill hours when AI compressed the labour. Vibe-coding studios ship demoware that falls over in week three. In-house hires take four months you spend shipping nothing. Stacklane is built for the era we actually work in.

01

AI is the substrate, not a tool we mention.

We don't talk about AI as a feature on a comparison page. It's how we work. AI is in the loop from the first spec to the last deploy: generation, review, refactors, tests, docs, observability. The substrate, not the gimmick.

The job senior engineering does is different now. The bottleneck used to be typing volume. Today it's judgment: what to build, what to refactor, what to throw away. The AI tooling lets one senior do what used to take a four-person pod. The judgment stays human, on every PR with a name on it.

02

Production-grade is the contract.

Speed without architecture is brittleness with a deploy button. AI without judgment is unreviewed guesses shipping to customers. We hold the line on data integrity, type safety, audit trails, observability, and tests because that's what separates real software from demoware.

Real means the code holds up under load. Real means a six-month rewrite isn't the implicit roadmap item. Real means we sign the review on every PR and you can read it back later. If a feature isn't production-shaped, it doesn't ship.

03

Subscription, because incentives matter.

The agency hours-model rewards billable bloat: more code, more hours, bigger invoice. A flat monthly rewards us for keeping your software healthy and shipping. Same incentive as you, by construction.

Pause when your roadmap slows. Resume the month you need us. No SOW theatre, no scope-creep invoicing, no notice-period penalties. The price is the price.

Why Stacklane

Most software shipped in the AI era is brittle. Stacklane is the opposite shape on purpose.

How we work

Four principles that haven't moved since day one.

  1. 01

    AI-native, openly

AI is in the loop end-to-end: spec, generation, review, refactors, tests, docs, observability. We don't pretend it doesn't exist, and we don't let it ship unreviewed. Senior engineers stay in the loop on every PR.

  2. 02

    Production-grade, every time

Architected, reviewed, tested, owned. We hold the line on data integrity, type safety, audit trails, and tests because that's what separates real software from demoware. If a feature isn't production-shaped, it doesn't ship.

  3. 03

    Daily shipping, not sprint theatre

Commits land in your repo every working day, demoed weekly. No two-week visibility gaps, no "the team is on it" status updates. Progress is in the diff, not in the slidedeck.

  4. 04

    Continuous stewardship over project handoff

Subscription, not statement of work. Same incentive as you: keep the software healthy and shipping. Pause when work slows, resume when it speeds up. No SOW revisions, no scope-creep invoicing. The price is the price.
